The Mudgelog is a blog associated with The Grammar Curmudgeon, my main website, which contains mostly (but not exclusively) my own writing and discussions of language and grammar. Currently, it also has a section called "The Mudgelog," where I post random thoughts that "show how messed up my mind can get." However, since there is no opportunity for feedback or conversation (except in the message boards on the site), I decided that a linked blog would be a worthwhile addition.
Entries here may be a bit skimpy as I learn my way around. I am a professional grammarian (a retired editor and semiretired English professor) and not a technological wizard. Please bear with me.
